Description: Voltage is created across an LED at increasing levels until it lights; this will be Vmin. Lasers can be shone on a photoresistor to create current in the circuit and light the LED if they are the right frequency
Instructions: Place LED into breadboard. Connect LED to voltmeter via banana cables and alligator clips. Shine laser directly onto the photoresistor. Show the students the reading on the voltmeter. Swap lasers/LEDs if desired
Items Used: Breadboard, LEDs, Lasers, Voltmeter with alligator clips, Photoresistor
Notes:Math Description:
Size: Condition: Good. Hazard: Avoid shining laser at anyone.
